The Holly crowned winners at the 2020 REBA Employee Wellbeing Awards

The Holly Private Hospital is celebrating success after winning in the ‘Best New Wellbeing Strategy’ (500-5,000 staff) category at the 2020 REBA Employee Wellbeing Awards.

The Holly, part of the Aspen Healthcare group, was recognised at the awards ceremony on 5 March for its popular ‘Holly Health and Wellbeing’ programme, beating a number of world-renowned companies including Virgin Active and Experian.

The REBA Employee Wellbeing Awards are a prestigious independent awards designed to celebrate the healthiest organisations with the best wellbeing benefits. The Best New Wellbeing Strategy award recognises businesses that have successfully implemented the first phase of a wellbeing strategy within the past two years.

Launched in summer 2019, ‘Holly Health and Wellbeing’ is an innovative staff wellbeing programme with a holistic approach to improving staff health. It takes into account physical and mental health, positive culture and financial wellbeing, and aims to raise the level of awareness about the importance of staff health and wellbeing.

Laura Fowler, Human Resources Business Partner at The Holly, said:
“We’re delighted to receive this prestigious award for our commitment to employee wellbeing. The health and wellbeing of our staff is hugely important to us at The Holly and we aim to provide people with the tools to maintain a healthy lifestyle – not just physically, but also in terms of mental, financial and social health. We know that when our staff have a sense of wellbeing this reflects positively in the delivery of care and service to our patients, and we’re looking forward to launching further wellbeing initiatives this year.”
