Respiratory Medicine is concerned with the organs and tissues associated with breathing including the nasal passages, trachea, pharynx, larynx, lungs and bronchi.

We offer regular outpatient clinics with Consultant Respiratory Physicians to assess and treat a full range of respiratory conditions including:

• asthma
• chronic cough
• chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)
• emphysema pleural diseases and respiratory infections
• lung cancer
• sleep apnoea (snoring and breathing difficulties during sleep)

Our Consultants have access to a range of specialist services including biopsies, blood tests, lung function tests, ECG, x-ray and other tests to aid diagnosis and treatment.
